Slatecraft4u T&C

  1. All items sold are handmade and crafted by slatecraft4u and not outsourced
  2. Slate: tiles are bought new, not reclaimed in the original untreated form which may contain Impurities.
  3. Designs: All designs are hand drawn and Not to exact measurements, drawings, and original artwork created by Slatecraft4u remain our intellectual property and may not be shared to other competitors.
  4. Social Media: All caves (Including Custom Orders) Coasters, Keyrings, Resin products may be used by Slatecraft4u for Social Media advertising purposes.
  5. Claims For Damages: slatecraft4u will not accept ANY claims for animal or personal injury.
  6. Quotes: A quote is an invitation to treat, not a binding offer, and is valid for a set period (30 days).
  7. Proofing: If a Basic proof / Design is required, it is the customer's responsibility to approve the design and that slatecraft4u are not liable for errors or omissions once the proof is approved.
  8. Returns: Any item needed to be returned to slatecraft4u due to Over Ordering, Wrongful ordering, are returned at the Customers expense with a 10% restocking charge, must be returned in a complete and sellable condition, or no refund will be given.
  9. All slates are hand cut and are not guaranteed to be cm/mm perfect, every step will be taken to cut as near as customer requested.
  10. Slate: All slate is natural stone which is inerate, will not affect water parameters if used in aquariums, All slatecraft4u slate is washed and ready to be used before posting, however it can washed under cold water if required, 
  11. All items are heavily packaged, However in the unfortunate case for a Claims for Damages: All packaging must be retained for Slatecraft4u to make appropriate claims with full photographic evidence of said Damage to item handmade by slatecaft4u
  12. Resin Products: Resin products are NOT to be given as toys, These are decorative items only
  13. Slate Coasters: are not to given as toys and should always be used for their intended purpose of resting Drinks on only.
  14. Custom Orders: For custom items, slatecraft4u require full payment upfront to cover the cost of materials and labour. Payment to be made in full before the custom order is produced.
  15. Postage: Free Postage is offered at the discretion of slatecraft4u.
  16. Cancellation: Slatecraft4u reserve the right to cancel an order at any time, with a full refund to the customer.
  17. Price: Slatecraft4u maintains the right to amend the item price at any time, however once an order is placed the price stated will be honoured*, the price includes free Postage or clearly stated with custom orders or special delivery as agreed with customer and slatecraft4u, *This is revoked if there is a price or website malfunction or due to incorrect pricing.
  18. Risk: Slate can have sharp edges before being used, All precautions are taken to eliminate the risk, however there will alway remain a risk of damage to Person due to misuse, Slatecraft4u pride themselves on Product Quality and workmanship and endeavour to smooth items as much as possible, slatecraft4u does not guarantee a total smooth finish.
  19. Delivery Times: slatecraft4u keep a large selection of caves available for a quick dispatch or collection, however please allow 2 weeks for caves to be handmade due to stock issues at busy times.
  20. Website Use: Slatecraft4u does not receive or hold any customer credit card details, all financial transactions are conducted by an external company.
  21. Collection: Is available from York by appointment only, on Most days to accommodate customers, Confirmation must be made via email before collection or viewing items.
  22. GDPR And Privacy Policy: Available by separate, Customer information may be held indefinitely for tax and marketing purposes, customer details will be shared with delivery companies including emails and telephone numbers if given on order details, these are for tracking purposes.
  23. Acceptance of terms: By visiting slatecraft4u.com website, Customers agree to these T&Cs, or by placing an order in person or via slatecraft4u.com website, These terms and conditions may be amended at any time.
